Ich arbeite in zwei großen Feldern: auf der einen Seite die Räume und Installationen, die immer mit Zeichnungen und Materialien wie Acrylglas und Folien verbunden sind. Zu diesen Räumen entstehen Hefte mit Zeichnungen, Text und Perfomances. Auf der anderen Seite die Malerei, die für mich eine Verdichtung des bildnerischen Prozesses im vorgegebenen Bildraum darstellt.
Was mich interessiert ist, mit meinen Bildern weiterzukommen, mit dem was ich ausdrücken möchte als Ganzes, nicht nur Ausdruck sondern immer wieder Verschleierung. Ich könnte mit klar konzipierten Grundformen arbeiten und diese erste Setzung stehen lassen. Mich interessiert aber gerade das Wechselspiel zwischen dem Verhüllen und Deutlichmachen, dem Verschleiern – der Manipulation im Bild und als Bild.

I work in two large fields: on the one hand the rooms and installations which are always connected with drawings and materials like acrylic glass and films. To these rooms are created notebooks with drawings, text and perfomances.
On the other hand, the painting, which represents for me a condensation of the pictorial process in the given pictorial space.
What interests me is to get on with my pictures, with what I want to express as a whole, not just expression, but again and again obscurity. I could work with clearly conceived basic forms and leave this first position. But I am particularly interested in the interplay between the veiling and the clarification, the veiling – the manipulation in the picture and as a picture.
